Sigma GJQA-SG200-AN is a semi-massive Grand Jumbo-shaped electro-acoustic guitar from the brand's special edition, which will please even players with high demands in terms of quality of workmanship, sound and playability. Like many other Sigma instruments, this guitar draws inspiration from famous Gibson designs.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated flake maple with a distinctive wood grain. The large resonant body of the instrument offers a powerful loud sound with a distinctive bass. A 20-fret Micarta composite fingerboard is glued to the maple neck, with decorative positional blocks in the shape of crowns to facilitate orientation across its surface.
The guitar's sound is provided by a Fishman Sonitone preamp with Volume and Tone controls subtly placed in the instrument's soundhole. The strings are mounted in Grover Die-Cast tuning machines in gold finish. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle guarantee ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by a glossy lacquer top, a pickguard decorated with graphic motifs familiar from Gibson SJ-200 models, a moustache-shaped fretboard, white body binding with black lines, backplate decoration and a logo on the headstock.
The instrument comes in a practical soft case.
