The Sigma GJA12-SG200 is a semi-massive 12-string electro-acoustic guitar in the Grand Jumbo shape from the SG series. The instruments in this series draw inspiration from Gibson's famous acoustic guitars, in this case the Gibson SJ-200.
The guitar's front plate is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back plate and sides are made of veneered maple with a characteristic distinctive wood grain. The large resonant body of the instrument offers a powerful loud sound with a distinctive bass. The maple neck is glued to a 20-fret Micarta composite fingerboard, with decorative position blocks in the shape of crowns to facilitate orientation across its surface.
The guitar's sound system is provided by a Fishman Sonitone preamp with controls in the instrument's soundboard and a Fishman Sonicore subwoofer. The strings are mounted in Grover Mini Die-Cast tuning machines in gold finish and in a micarta headstock. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transfer of the strings. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by the glossy top lacquer and Dark Vintage Sunburst finish, a pickguard decorated with graphic motifs familiar from Gibson SJ-200 models, a moustache-shaped fingerboard, white body binding with black lines, a decorative centre back panel and a logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a soft case.
