The Sigma GJA-SG200L is a semi-massive Grand Jumbo-shaped electro-acoustic guitar from the Custom series. Like many other Sigma instruments, this guitar draws inspiration from Gibson's famous acoustic guitars.
The guitar's front plate is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back plate and sides are made of laminated maple with a distinctive wood grain. The large resonant body of the instrument offers a powerful, loud sound with a distinctive bass. A 20-fret Micarta composite fingerboard is glued to the maple neck, with decorative position blocks in the shape of crowns to facilitate orientation across its surface.
The guitar's sound is provided by a Fishman Sonitone preamp with Volume and Tone controls subtly placed in the instrument's soundhole. The strings are mounted in Grover Die-Cast tuning machines in gold finish. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle guarantee ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by the glossy top lacquer and Autumn Burst finish, pickguard decorated with graphic motifs familiar from Gibson SJ-200 models, moustache-shaped fingerboard, white body binding with black lines, decorative centre back panel and logo on the headstock.
The instrument comes in a practical soft case.
