Sigma 00K2-42S is a semi-massive acoustic guitar type 00 from the brand's special edition, which with its workmanship, premium materials and playing characteristics will certainly appeal to even the most demanding musicians. It is an instrument with a more compact body (corresponding to e.g. the Grand Concert type) especially suitable for finger technique.
The body of the guitar is made of exotic Hawaiian koa (flamed koa) with a distinctive wood grain - solid wood front board, back board and sides made of plywood. An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck, attached to the body with a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 12th fret. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by decorative mother-of-pearl position markers.
The strings are mounted in open Grover mechanisms in gold finish with Butterbean pegs and an ebony fingerboard. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transfer of the strings. The luxurious workmanship is accentuated by the burnished gloss finish of the body, the double-sided perimeter body binding complemented by the ornate top trim, back plate decoration, mother-of-pearl rosette and rich mother-of-pearl headstock decoration.
The guitar comes in a handy soft case.
