The Sigma 000T-42 is a semi-massive acoustic guitar that will please even players with high demands in terms of quality of workmanship, sound and playability. The smaller size of the "triple strings" (compared to Dreadnought guitars) guarantees good playing characteristics and comfort even for players of smaller stature or build.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back and sides of plywood. This gives the guitar a sonorous, frequency-balanced sound and good dynamic response for both vigorous and very quiet, subtle playing. A micarta composite fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck, which is attached to the body with a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret as standard. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by decorative position markers.
The strings are mounted in high-quality open Grover mechanics in gold finish with Butterbean pegs and a micarta headstock. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by a glossy finish, a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, a white body binding complemented by an ornate pickguard and the company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a practical soft case.
