Description of product

C5 is the designation for the Shubb Standard Series capodasters, the design of which was overhauled in 2013. The current models feature features that were previously only seen on the Deluxe Series capodasters.

The Brushed Nickel series features nickel-plated steel capstocks with a finish that is deeper and more subtle shades of silver than the classic bright shiny types offer. These are capstones with a design typical of Shubb, combining simplicity with high reliability and functionality. The strings are held in place by a high quality solid rubber, which behaves like the belly of a finger - it does not pull the strings off axis, transferring an even tension to them, so the strings hold the tuning beautifully. In addition, the tension can be freely adjusted using the adjustable pressure function. Thanks to the thoughtful shape of each component, the capodasters are easy to put on and take off, while also being able to be placed seamlessly at any point on the neck.
