C1 is the designation for the original and probably best-selling model of Shubb capodasters for guitars with metal strings, which have a maximum fingerboard width of 2 inches, i.e. about 50.8 millimeters, and a rounded fingerboard. This series was introduced in 1980 and has been a favorite among professional and amateur musicians ever since.
