Seagull S6 acoustic guitars are among the most popular models from the Canadian brand's range. It offers good playing and sound characteristics at an affordable price. They are available in pure acoustic versions and equipped with active electronics. Their sound will easily make its way to campfire gatherings, as well as concert stages in clubs, theatres and bars.
The soundboard of this guitar is made of pressure-tested solid cedar, while the back and sides are made of three layers of plywood. This combination gives the guitar a warm balanced sound with resonant mids and full bass. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-one frets is glued to the maple neck. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots.
Sound pickup is handled by a Fishman Sonitone preamp with controls subtly placed in the guitar's soundhole and a Sonicore subwoofer. Stability of tuning is guaranteed by high-quality closed drives. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by the ornate rosette, dark binding, logo on the headstock and the contrast of the black semi-gloss soundboard and bright imitation mother-of-pearl pickguard.
