Seagull Entourage acoustic guitars offer good playability and sound at an affordable price. They are available in pure acoustic versions and with active electronics. Their sound will easily make its way to campfire gatherings, as well as concert stages in clubs, theaters, bars, etc.
The soundboard of this guitar is made of pressure-tested solid spruce, decorated with an impressive semi-gloss finish in honey gold colours. The back and sides are made from three layers of ply-wooded solid cherry, giving the instrument a tonal character that straddles the line between the warm sound of mahogany and the clarity of maple. The maple neck is joined by a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots.
Stability of tuning is guaranteed by closed chrome-plated mechanics with design elements in the form of gull silhouettes. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, decorative rosette, white trim and logo on the headstock.
The history of the Canadian company Seagul dates back to 1982 and its philosophy is clear - to produce instruments using concepts familiar from custom guitar making so that even hard-working musicians can afford them. As a result, Seagul instruments are characterised by the use of solid woods and elaborate finishes, for example, so that they impress in both sound and appearance.
