Seagull Artist acoustic guitars represent the best of the Canadian Seagull brand. These are superbly crafted all-wood instruments made from selected woods whose sound you will appreciate in live performance and studio recording.
The more compact Concert Hall body shape of this model fills the gap between the petite Parlors and the larger Dreadnoughts. The smaller and narrower body makes the instrument suitable for fingerstyle playing, but of course it's easy to handle with your pick. The body itself is made of solid pressure-tested spruce and mahogany wood. Adjoining the silver-leaf maple neck is a richlite composite fingerboard fitted with twenty-one frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots and inlays on the twelfth fret.
The sound is captured using a Tru-Mic system with an Element sub-coil pickup, microphone and L.R. Baggs Anthem preamp located in the guitar's soundhole. Tuning stability is guaranteed by the open-geared 16:1 string drive and richlite tailpiece. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by the double-sided white inlaid herringbone trim, decorative rosette, logo and mother-of-pearl motif on the headstock and bright pickguard, which also protects the guitar's paintwork from scratches. The instrument comes in a quality Tric Case.
