All Sandberg basses are made in Germany by a team of experienced guitar builders and you can be assured of great workmanship, playability and sound with each one. This makes them some of the most sought-after instruments that many a bassist can swear by.
What's more, this bass has been treated with Vibration Treatment technology - Sandberg clamped it in a special frame for 100 hours and vibrated the wood. This makes it sound like it's been recorded hundreds of times right from the factory.
This bass is based on the California II TM model, but compared to that it is equipped with a preamp with three-band corrections (can be switched to passive) and a two-position switch, which opens the humbucker coils. The sound is thus very variable.
A maple neck (Canadian Hardrock) fitted with an ebony fingerboard with twenty-two frets and position markers inlaid with an ear. The headstock is colour-coordinated with the body and, together with the silver pickups and black hardware, it is a very stylish piece.
