It contains all the refinements that Roger Sadowsky has collected over his years of work on custom basses and guitars. Here he has drawn on his experience to refine the Jazz Bass concept to such an extent that no blind spots can be found in this instrument. This is a bass that will reliably offer you a sound that many a studio or stage sound engineer will appreciate. Sadowsky's Metroline series are made in Germany as a more affordable alternative to American models, but you certainly won't be deprived of the quality that these instruments are renowned for.

This model combines a swamp ash body with a luxurious high-gloss finish, a maple neck treated with a thin layer of satin nitrolac, and a maple fingerboard with 24 frets of silver. The electronics are active and include, in addition to the classic controls, a Sadowsky Vintage Tone Control potentiometer. The pickups are Sadowsky Humcancelling single coils, the hardware is also from Sadowsky's in-house workshop, only the Ultralight tuning machines were developed in collaboration with Hipshot.

In addition to the flawless sound and perfectly balanced fingerboard, the bass is perfectly ergonomic. So comfortable that you won't want to let it out of your hand. It offers a very low weight or a selected bottom horn so that the player can comfortably reach even the highest fret. Included in the delivery is a reinforced and padded Sadowsky Portabag softcase and a set of accessories for perfect care of the bass.
