FANTOM EX offers an extensive library of Roland sounds that cover an exceptionally wide range of genres. You can create, compose and perform with over 7,000 pre-installed presets and an unprecedented array of powerful synthesis tools. Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology delivers an authentic analog experience that faithfully replicates analog circuits. Synthesizer expansions such as the JUPITER-8 ACB, SH-101 ACB, and other classic models such as the JX-3P ACB are available for download. The flexible and expandable synth system ZEN-Core uses provides a diverse range of electronic, acoustic and hybrid sounds. Develop refined and expressive tones with up to four layers, each with an independent oscillator, filter, amplifier, dual LFOs and effects. Create complex splits, layers and sequenced parts using up to 16 tones in a single scene. n/zyme is a modern instrument with an all-new synth engine developed for the FANTOM environment. It combines oscillator layers with wave frequency, phase and shape modulation, resonant filters and two extra powerful Step LFOs. The Roland Virtual ToneWheel faithfully replicates the sound generation process of historic organs, including all of the characteristic acoustic sounds that come with these types of instruments. A rotary effect with variable speed, brake control and tube distortion characteristics is also available. The touchscreen, sliders, knobs and keyboard are automatically configured to complete the authentic organ experience, providing practical control and classic fast playability. Developed in collaboration with renowned synthesizer designer Axel Hartmann, FANTOM EX's hardware and user interface was designed to support your creative intentions with smooth controls and superior playability.Each FANTOM EX model features a premium keyboard with aftertouch support. The FANTOM 8 EX model offers the ultimate gaming experience with 88 keys and hammer-action mechanics, while the FANTOM 6 EX and FANTOM 7 EX models feature semi-weighted synth mechanics. Of course, all synth or DAW control options are available, as well as a range of buttons or 16 RGB backlit pads for triggering and sequencing control. If you need advanced control or want to connect your favourite controller, it's no problem at all - you can connect up to 3 USB devices at once!
