The AE-20 Aerophone wind synthesizer is a modern musical instrument that gives you a whole new range of expressive possibilities.
The sound register of the wind synthesizer covers the entire spectrum of woodwind and brass instruments as well as stringed and exotic ethnic instruments - all immediately available at the touch of a button. Thanks to SuperNATURAL technology, the synthesizer is able to capture every tiny nuance within dynamics, articulation and aliquots. As a wind synth with the ZEN-Core processor used in the flagship synths among Roland's FANTOM and JUPITER-X synths, it naturally also offers a wide range of great keyboard synth sounds.
The AE-20 Aerophone's fingering is based on the saxophone fingering, but you can configure clarinet-like fingering, transverse and recorder fingering, or your own. Breath and pressure sensors offer better response than ever before, with low latency and configurable settings to fully suit your playing style. With a range of seven octaves and instant transpose capability, you'll be able to play any song without the range limitations of traditional acoustic instruments.
With headphone output, Bluetooth compatibility, USB-MIDI, built-in speaker and battery operation, you can play the AE-20 Aerophone whenever and wherever the occasion is right. Individual sounds can be edited/personalized using the synth controls, and the Aerophone Pro Editor app is available for more in-depth editing/customization of sounds. Complete beginners will welcome the Aerophone Lesson app, where you can quickly learn how to hold the Aerophone and use the mouthpiece correctly. You'll test your level of proficiency on the AE-20 Aerophone with practice tracks and subsequent feedback (Accuracy Scoring) from the app, which evaluates how diligent you've been.
