RODECaster Pro is the first audio interface aimed specifically at podcast production. Experienced users will appreciate the high-quality preamps, while novice podcasters will appreciate the speed of setup and professional sound. You can record to a microSD card or to your computer.
Professional sound
RODECaster offers four microphone preamps with professional sound quality and phantom power, so you can connect both dynamic and condenser microphones and enjoy clear, distortion-free, noise-free sound - just like your podcast deserves.
Audio can be recorded directly to the built-in SD card and individual volume settings are automatically adjusted. Simply unpack the RODECaster from the box, plug it in and you're recording in professional quality right away.
Like radio
Eight backlit pads allow you to quickly trigger jingles, commercials or effects. You can either record the desired sound yourself or easily drag and drop it directly from your computer into the software that comes with the RODECaster.
If you don't have a guest to interview in the studio, there's nothing easier than connecting your phone wirelessly via Bluetooth or a patch cable. RODECaster takes care of the annoying echo and you save money on additional equipment.
Podcast quickly and easily
Microphone preamps with Class A circuitry, which you'll also find in much more expensive studio gear, are complemented by Aphex audio processors (Aural Exciter, Big Bottom). The effects palette includes a compressor, limiter, de-esser or gate, which puts the rich sound familiar from radio studios within easy reach.
RODECaster can be used completely standalone with recording to a micro SD card or uploaded to a computer via USB cable. In addition, the manufacturer promises an update for multitrack recording, which you'll especially appreciate when post-producing your podcast in editing software.
