RockBoard MOD is a patchbay, i.e. a plug-in module, with easy installation into Rockboard pedalboards (except Duo 2.1 model). In a compact body, it offers easy and maximally efficient organization of all cable connections under the pedalboard, so that all your pedal effects can be permanently plugged in. Simply manage all connections with instruments, apparatus, power adapters and effects in the pedalboard.
The extended version of MOD 5 offers a built-in active DI box, headphone amp (associated Volume control) and most importantly a speaker simulator with six recorded guitar impulse response (IRs) and the ability to load your own IRs into MOD 5. This way you will simply always have an alternative in your pedalboard, i.e. the sound of your favourite speaker, for when the backline at a gig doesn't meet your requirements. Other handy features include an optional mono/stereo input, a balanced XLR/unbalanced 6.3 mm parallel jack output, Micro USB for firmware updates, switchable grounding and a removable front panel, in case you want to mount the MOD 5 on/under your pedalboard.
The package includes a mounting kit.
