The Red Bird brand has been around since 2007, when its founder Jan Fic started making cigarbox guitars. Since 2016, he has also been making electric guitars, electric ukuleles, mini basses and electric basses full time near Moravský Krumlov. All instruments are created by honest handmade production, with an emphasis on originality and design.
The Momma model is a full size bass with a long 34" scale. This example was custom built in October 2023. Originally the bass still had a humbucker pickup in the neck position, but the original owner changed his mind, the instrument received a new pickguard from the manufacturer and remained in a simple concept as a precision with a split-coil pickup.
The body of this bass is alder, the neck is maple. The finish is nitro lacquer with a faux patina from a factory that the manufacturer calls Relic Massacre. The zero fret is made of beef bone with a width of 48 mm. The pickguard is aluminium.
The instrument is sold with a strap and certificate from the manufacturer, from whom it was also tuned before sale. This is a used instrument and is sold under the BASE VAT regime.
