The PRS SE P50 Parlor is an electroacoustic guitar with a more compact Parlor body. Thanks to its nice dimensions, even musicians with a more petite constitution will enjoy playing the guitar, and it will also serve you well as a travel instrument.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated figured maple. The acoustic qualities of the instrument are accentuated by the hybrid X/classical ribbing, which holds the back and sides firmly in place while allowing the soundboard to vibrate freely. The traditional warm tone of Parlor guitars with a more pronounced profile in the midrange also gains a decent amount of sonic volume.
Glued to the mahogany neck with Wide Fat profile is an ebony fingerboard inlaid with "trademark PRS" position markers in the form of bird silhouettes. Tuning stability is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the bone zero and saddle frets in the company's tuning machines and ebony headstock. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by the mother-of-pearl top and rosette (Abalone).
Sound reinforcement options are offered by a Fishman Sonitone preamp optimized specifically for PRS guitars, with an underdrive pickup and volume and EQ controls subtly set into the soundhole. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
