The mahogany body of the SE MARK HOLCOMB Holcomb Blue Bursts guitar is decorated with a figured maple top and a spectacular flame maple veneer. The Shallow Violin carve brings the instrument's playing quality closer to the more expensive American Core Series models. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four frets is glued to a maple neck with a Wide Thin profile. Position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes facilitate orientation across the fingerboard surface.
