The PRS SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo electric guitars from the more affordable SE series are extremely versatile instruments with the ergonomic PRS double-cut body shape, semi-hollow construction and the sound of both electric and electro-acoustic guitars.

The mahogany body of the SE Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Piezo Lake Blue is adorned with a maple top and a fancy veneer of flamed maple. The Shallow Violin carve brings the instrument's playability closer in quality to the more expensive American Core Series models. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-four frets is glued to a maple neck with a Wide Thin profile. Position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

A pair of proprietary humbuckers give the guitar a clean sound with punchy mids, both the full big sound of humbuckers and the punch of single-coil pickups (thanks to the push/pull tone-shield function). The use of both classic magnetic pickups (humbuckers) and LR Baggs/PRS piezo system are specific to this instrument. For this reason, the guitar offers separate volume controls and two outputs for connection to acoustic and electric guitars or to a mixer. By connecting via the Mix/Piezo output, the sounds of the humbuckers and piezo pickups are mixed in the ratio set by the volume control.

Strings are seated in a factory tremolo, tuning stability is guaranteed by quality PRS drives. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
