The PRS Standard 24 Satin electric guitars from the S2 series are made in Stevensville, USA. They differ from Custom models by the absence of a maple top and a distinctive pickguard. They represent a good choice for modern players who demand well-made instruments with versatile use and traditional design.

The mahogany body of the S2 Standard 24 Satin Antique White Satin guitar is decorated with a thin layer of satin nitrolac. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-four frets is glued to a mahogany neck with a Pattern Thin profile. Position markers in the form of bird silhouettes facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

New to the S2 line for 2024 are "vintage-inspired" 58/15 LT ("low turn") pickups, which offer a beautifully clean articulate sound with the warmth of late 50s humbuckers and vintage single-coils, and USA-made electronics. Adjust the character of the sound with the volume and tone controls and the five-position pickup switch, which offers split-coil configurations at positions 2 and 4. The guitar's sound will stand out in a wide range of musical genres.

Tuning stability is guaranteed by the string mounting in the locking mechanism (PRS Low Mass Locking), which prevents unwanted string movement, and the company's patented tremolo. The guitar comes in a premium gig bag.
