PRS NF 53 Black

The PRS NF 53 electric guitars from the American Bolt On Series are instruments with a modern single-cut design and classic sound that will please players of country, pop, classic rock, jazz and other musical genres. Inspired by one of P.R. Smith's vintage guitars from 1953, the PRS development team has been working on their design for several years.

The body of the NF 53 Black is made of swamp ash. Playability is guaranteed by the bolt-on maple neck with Pattern 53 profile, which offers aspects of Pattern Vintage and Pattern Regular profiles and is slightly narrower at the zero fret than the usual PRS standard. Position markers in the form of bird silhouettes make orientation on the maple fingerboard easier.

The two narrow, almost "single-coil sized" PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) humbuckers give the guitar a superbly clean articulate sound and great response to the playing dynamics you're more likely to associate with the "twang" of T models or the single-coil sound of PRS Silver Sky guitars. Understandably without the accompanying noise. The DD (Deep Dish) models differ from other Narrowfield pickups with longer coils, hence larger windings and room for extra metal components between the magnets - offering a tighter punchier sound.

The strings are mounted over a bone fretboard in vintage-style PRS mechanicals and a steel PRS plate-style headstock with brass saddles. The stylish finish is accentuated by a black pickguard , nickel hardware and gloss nitro lacquer.
