PRS Myles Kennedy TriColor Sunburst

PRS Myles Kennedy TriColor Sunburst is the signature model of the electric guitar of the American singer and guitarist known from the bands Alter Bridge and Slash and the Conspirators. This is an instrument from the American Bolt On Series with a bolt-on neck, single-cut body design with a flat top and vintage fretboard that is sure to appeal to a wide range of guitarists.

The guitar's swamp ash body is topped with a glossy nitro lacquer finish. The bolt-on maple neck features a custom "Myles Kennedy" profile, and the fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by the trademark PRS position markers in the form of bird silhouettes.

Two narrow, almost "single-coil sized", PRS Narrowfield MK humbuckers give the guitar both the sound and feel of humbuckers and the punch of single-coils, plus no unwanted noise. Up until now, the rule of thumb with PRS Narrowfield pickups has been that there was no split-coil option, but that's changing - the guitar offers split-coil configurations at the 2 and 4 pickup switch positions. This leaves the push/pull tone potentiometer with a different "job" than traditional coil-splitting - it works like a tone roll-off on a grasshopper pickup, where by neglecting the treble you can subtly darken the tone.

Stable tuning is ensured by fitting the strings across the bone zero fret in the company's vintage-style locking mechanism and steel PRS plate-style tailpiece with brass saddles. The stylish finish is accentuated by a black pickguard and "Geometric Owl" logo on the headstock.
