Description of product

The Dustie Waringloyd Faded Blue Wraparound Smokeburst electric guitar is the signature model of Dustie Waring from the American band Between The Buried and Me. The instrument is part of the American Bolt-On Series and should appeal to skilled guitarists who need both a great clean sound and hi-gain humbucker pressure with a thick bass bottom end, but still a clearly articulated tone.

The ergonomically shaped mahogany body with the distinctive PRS double-cut design is adorned with a fancy flamed maple top and satin lacquer finish. The bolt-on maple neck features the original Waring profile (modified Pattern Thin with a slightly narrower cutaway). Twenty-four frets and position markers in the form of black bird silhouettes divide the maple fingerboard surface.

Two signature Mojotone DW Tomahawk Gen 2 humbuckers with Alnico magnets, high output signal and special coil winding give the guitar a big sound with a great bass bottom end, but which remains clear and articulate even with higher distortion. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch (positions 2 and 4 offer split-coil configurations) are used to adjust the sound.

The strings are held in high-quality locking mechanisms (PRS Low Mass Locking) to prevent unwanted string movement, and a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo. Locks on the zero fret ensure tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever.
