The PRS CE24 series of electric guitars are American-made instruments that differ from most other models of this company by their bolt-on neck construction. They represent a good choice for modern players who demand well-crafted instruments with versatility and a traditional feel.

The ergonomically shaped mahogany body of the CE 24 Fire Red Burst with the characteristic PRS double-cut design is adorned with a fancy flamed maple top and glossy nitro lacquer. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-four frets is glued to a maple neck with Pattern Thin profile. Position markers in the form of mother-of-pearl bird silhouettes facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

A pair of 85/15 humbuckers, designed by company founder P.R. Smith himself, give the guitar a crystal-clear sound with detailed articulation across the entire frequency spectrum. Its character can be adjusted using the volume and tone controls and the three-position pickup switch. Pulling up the tone control (push/pull function) splits the pickup coils and changes the sound to single-coil - the guitar offers a total of six different pickup configurations and a wide variety of tones that you'll appreciate in an equally diverse range of musical styles.

Tuning stability is ensured by the strings' locking mechanism (PRS Low Mass Locking), which prevents unwanted string movement, and the company's patented tremolo. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
