The Vela model is only a few years old, and this 2020 instrument differs from the current production with a satin lacquer finish and a different pickup at the neck. Professional instrument made in the USA, guitar in very good condition.
The body of the guitar is made of solid mahogany. To the mahogany neck with Pattern Regular profile is glued a rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets. Position dots make it easy to navigate its surface. The combination of the company's proprietary Vela (Starla) humbucker at the bridge position and a PRS Type-D single-coil pickup gives the guitar a very bright and punchy tone that sounds great with both the machine itself and your favorite effects. The sonic character can be adjusted with the volume potentiometer, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch. The Push/Pull tone diaphragm function allows you to unzip the humbucker coils for a pure single-coil sound.
Tuning stability is ensured by the strings' fit in the PRS Plate Style's fixed headstock and lockable tuning mechanisms, which prevent unwanted string movement.
The guitar is in very good condition, with a few signs of previous use in the thin lacquer. It is a used item in the sense of VAT, BAZAAR mode. Original packaging is included.
