Presonus USB sound cards from the Studio series are appreciated by home and project studio owners, producers or musicians. There are several models in the series, which differ in the number of inputs and outputs. So you can choose the sound card that best suits your needs. All cards record in high resolution up to 192 kHz/24-bit and are equipped with high quality XMAX preamps. You'll also find the award-winning Presonus Studio One DAW software in the Artist version included.
Presonus Studio 1824 offers a total of 18 inputs and 24 outputs. In addition to the eight mic/line inputs, there are eight digital channels via the ADAT connector and a digital stereo S/PDIF input. 10 analog outputs and two headphone stereo outputs are also complemented by ADAT and S/PDIF. Connectivity is provided via USB 2.0. There is no clock output for perfect digital synchronization with the rest of the studio, nor MIDI I/O.
The card operates at resolutions up to 192 kHz and offers a dynamic range of 115 dB. The excellent XMAX Class A preamps then ensure clean, distortion-free pickups with rich bass, defined mids and clear highs.
The front panel features gain controls for all eight inputs, an eight-segment LED meter for all channels and the main stereo output, a total volume control, mono and mute switches, and headphone outputs with custom volume control.
There's also a built-in DSP with software interface for creating listening mixes, and MIDI input and output.
So you can mix your recordings professionally right away, the manufacturers include the advanced editing and DAW software Studio One Artist and the Studio Magic plug-in package, which includes an equalizer, effects processor compressors, or a collection of physically modeled analog synthesizers from manufacturers like Plugin Alliance, SPL, Brainworx, Arturia, Lexicon, and more.
