We called it Eris because it was designed from the ground up to be part of this classic series, expanding its sound and frequency range. Maximize frequency response and accuracy.
The surprisingly powerful 100-watt Eris Sub8 drops to a roaring 30 Hz - a full 50 Hz below the Eris 3.5. Harder, more precise monitoring of your work will yield better mixes because you'll hear exactly what you're doing. Especially for EDM and hip-hop producers, a subwoofer is a must. The Eris Sub8 allows you to naturally extend the frequency range of the Eris E3.5 or E4.5 monitors in a way that's suitable for smaller rooms - exactly where these monitors excel.

Full control and connectivity.
With a solid complement of inputs and outputs, you'll be able to tailor the Eris Sub8 configuration to your exact mixing and listening needs. You can connect your existing monitors via L" TRS or RCA, adjust the input level to your liking and even reverse the polarity. Most importantly, you also have High Pass Filter and Low Pass Crossover controls to set the exact low frequency point at which your main monitors stop working. This avoids the excessive and blurred low frequency presentation that occurs without the use of a crossover, where you listen to the low frequencies in a redundant and duplicative manner.
