Play by Polyend is a new groovebox-inspired sampler suitable for music producers and musicians who spend a lot of time in the studio or live performance. Play features over thirty sample sets, an eight-track sequencer with eight-voice polyphony, and countless intuitive features that you'll use both when composing music and playing live.

Play
The developers at Polyend have prepared over 3000 samples to make creating beats and grooves a breeze. 35 different playback modes await you to make sure your projects aren't sterile. Plus, the Smart Fill feature helps you find the right sample or beat based on key and bpm. Moving individual sounds between patters is also very simple and fast, the copy/paste function has never been easier and everything takes a matter of seconds. Play also includes a notation filter, so it will only offer you keys that are in a given key, so you minimize errors.

Live Performance
Play is great not only for the studio, but also for gigs. In addition to great samples with a juicy groove and feel, a variety of studio-quality effects (FIlter, Overdrive, Space, Reverb, Delay, Saturator) await you. You can create music right on stage, or play it safe and use the magic of patterns that you can change, rewind or save at any time. You can also connect a MIDI controller or keys to Play.

Sequencer
Play includes an eight-track sequencer and eight individual polyphonic MIDI tracks that you can freely combine based on your other musical instruments. When you add 128 patterns of 16 tracks, you'll find that Play lets you combine up to 30,000 different tracks. Each track can also have its own length, different bpm and playback mode, which you'll find especially useful for polymetric and polyrhythmic sequences. The sampler also features MIDI CC mapping, so you can assign individual knobs to control external devices.

Control and connectivity
Your music production will be greatly accelerated by a multi-level display with fifteen touch-sensitive knobs, 16x8 backlit pads, and 4x8 control pads for Mute, Solo, Varation, Select, or Keyboard note input. The rear side then includes MIDI In/Out, line output, MicroSD card slot (16GB card included), and USB ports. Also included is a USB-A to socket adapter, USB-C cable, stereo to 2x mono cable, Minijack to MIDI DIN adapter, memory card, and MicroSD to USB-A adapter.
