Unlike traditional dynamic microphones, the Resonator A is built to capture a limited, carefully selected range of frequencies, giving it a very unique character. Its sound credibly emulates the effect of resonant chambers, which has led to its recordings being compared to old phonographs or Victrolas, for example. Thanks to a special microphone design, where the sound flows through a special chamber, and a mechanical filter, the frequencies of the upper midrange are emphasized, while the high and low frequencies are attenuated. So whether you are on stage or in the studio, this microphone allows you to achieve a unique sound effect.
The entire microphone is handmade in the USA and is housed in a solid copper chassis that will not only give it reliable protection, but also a unique design. In addition to the microphone, an adjustable 5/8" threaded aircraft aluminum bracket is also included.
