Do you use alternative tuning? If so, you might be interested in the new Pitch-Key PK-01 tuning system, designed for most types of electric and acoustic guitars. While various versions of the sub tuners have been on the market for some time, Pitch-Key took a slightly different direction when developing the PK-01.
The most important advantage of the PK-01 over other products, which offer use mostly only for drop D tuning, is the ability to retune a string by a greater number of intervals, both up and down, and the ability to use individual re-tuners on multiple strings. You are basically limited only by the strength of the string (E max. 0.054) and sufficient space (min. 30 mm) between the zero fret and the tuning machine.
Installation of the device is relatively quick and simple - you place the double-arm re-tuner on the string in the headstock area and then under-tune it to the tone you want to achieve. You then turn the dial upwards and use the Allen key to adjust the central piston stop to the height corresponding to the original tuning. In the case of overtuning, the process is of course reversed (you set the note higher from the classic tuning). You then move between the two set notes by simply turning the main dial.
The Pitch-Key PK-01 string re-tuners are made of durable and lightweight metal (weighing less than 9 g), and an Allen wrench is also included.
