Pioneer DJ DJM-A9

The Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 four-channel mixing console meets the highest demands of professional club DJs. Compared to its predecessor, the DJM-900NXS2, it boasts a significant portion of improvements, dominated by amazingly clear sound quality, enhanced playback and connectivity options, as well as a host of new features to help you take your performances to the next level. Despite all the innovations, it retains the features and layout that have become club standards.

Amazingly clear sound quality
The mixer's input and output sections feature ESS Technology's 32-bit, high-end AD/DA converter for crystal-clear, high-resolution sound. The superior microphone preamp and headphone output are not far behind the premium DACs.

Advanced control
Larger spacing around the equalizer knobs gives you better control space, and high-quality, bright LEDs in the channel section make it easy to visually see the sound level. With EQ/isolater frequency response that has been optimised to make the most of the latest music production features, you can play more dynamically than ever before. And with higher quality channel faders and a third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader, you can enjoy truly smooth mixing and fast, stable scratching.

Color FX and Center Lock
Try out the brand new Center Lock feature, and when using the popular Sound Color FX knob, each knob stops turning once you reach the center position. This means you can turn the knob as fast as you like and bring the effect up to the maximum of the hi parameter or the minimum of the low parameter without risking going too far and switching to the opposite parameter. When you turn off Center Lock, the Sound Color FX knobs work just like the knobs on the DJM-900NXS2.

Beat FX
A new color display helps you quickly and accurately check the status of the selected effect, and there's an illumination indication that matches the X-Pad's horizontal layout, allowing for more intuitive control with a simple swipe of your finger. Use the X-Pad to change the Echo and Ping Pong effects to create a unique analogue tape-style sound. And within the 14 total Beat FX, there are 3 new ones (Mobius, Triplet Filter and Triplet Roll) that you can use to further vary your performances. The channel switcher now features a dedicated button that lets you quickly apply effects to the selected channel.

Enhanced microphone section
Thanks to the phantom-powered input, you can directly connect a high-quality condenser microphone to the DJM-A9, nd just an ordinary dynamic handheld. There are also 3 new microphone effects (Echo, Pitch, Megaphone) with a special reverb effect so you can change the sound of your voice and get the crowd moving with your vocals. Use the new Push To Talk button to quickly and easily turn the microphone input on or off.

Extended connectivity
Connect 2 different PC/Mac systems simultaneously with two USB ports (USB Type-B and USB Type-C available). Thanks to the Bluetooth® input, which can be routed to any channel on the DJM-A9, you can wirelessly stream audio tracks from other devices such as smartphones into your sets and use all the mixer's features and effects to change the sound. The Multi I/O section has an independent channel switcher so external effects can be used separately from Beat FX, giving the DJM-A9 true Send FX capabilities.

Two independent headphone outputs
Connect your headphones simultaneously with another DJ and enjoy the freedom to monitor the channels you want. With separate cue buttons, volume knobs and mix balance knobs for each set of headphones, 2 DJs can easily establish tracks during back-to-back set changes.

There's also support for the all-new Stagehand app and built-in Sound Check, Serato DVS and rekordbox, DJM-REC or syncing with video content and lighting.
