Pigtronix Infinity 3

The Pigtronix Infinity 3 is a stereo double looper pedal with two independent tracks and a friendly user interface for use in composing, arranging and live performance. It offers a capacity of 3 hours of recording time and 50 presets arranged in five banks of ten with standard copy, save and delete options. Infinity 3 guarantees latency-free recording in two stereo tracks that can be connected in parallel (layering over each other) or in series (verse-chorus model).

In addition to the usual record, playback, dub, undo and redo functions, it offers a number of more advanced options, such as the Stereo/Split function, which allows you to assign each of the two inputs to one specific loop, thus recording two instruments simultaneously. The device also allows you to change tuning (and velocity) by switching the sample rate between 48 kHz, 24 kHz and 12 kHz, even in real time using an expression pedal, Universal Remote (not included) or MIDI. There's also a Cue/Fade function to end playback at the end of a loop or a slow, smooth fade out and other tweaks.

On the rear panel, in addition to the basic stereo inputs and outputs (2x mono in, 2x mono out), you'll also find 2 AUX outputs whose purpose is to send recorded audio to other devices (unlike regular outputs, these outputs don't send a guitar signal that passes through the device in real time, but only recorded loops). Also included is an input for an external expression pedal (or Universal Remote), a 5-pin MIDI in and a USB port for easy firmware updates. The box is wired as a buffered bypass, so it can kick in a signal that has faded after a long journey through an endless series of cables and effects. The included 18V adapter is used for power.
