The Double Four from Phil Jones is among the best you can find in the world of small bass combos. Using the latest digital technology and unique component design, this compact combo is sure to surprise you with its cutting-edge sound and powerful performance you probably wouldn't expect from such a small box.
The superior sound is provided by a pair of special 4" NeoPower speakers, which are designed from the ground up to be able to perfectly preserve the typical bass sound that Phil Jones amplifiers are famous for, despite their compact size. Each of these speakers is then complemented by its own PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) amplifier, which provides extreme efficiency, and also extends the life of the unit by operating at a lower temperature. The result is a superbly clear and punchy bass sound with a wide frequency range. This is also aided by the specially designed box in which the entire combo is housed. It is able to accentuate the thick bass frequencies between 30 and 150 Hz without unwanted distortion, so you can fully enjoy the true sound of your instrument.
Of course, there's also a headphone output or aux input with its own volume setting, and the line output with 6.3 mm Jack connector is sure to please when recording or performing.
