Do you want to capture the direct signal from your guitar, bass or keys without noise and loss of tone, even over long distances? The Palmer RIVER elde does just that - simply and reliably. Especially because the RIVER elde is a classic passive DI box, and even in a dual-channel design, which means, among other things, that you can use it for a stereo signal as well as for two different mono sources.
Each of the inputs is also routed to a parallel Thru Out output (6.3 mm jack), allowing the signal to be distributed to a guitar/bass amp. For signals with very high levels, each channel has its own pad switch (-30 dB), so you can insert the RIVER elde without any hesitation also between the output of the amplifier and the speaker, which will be appreciated by musicians working e.g. with the IR of various speakers. The output signals are balanced and low impedance, so they can withstand even longer cable runs without loss of ykquality. Both impedance and signal symmetry conversion is done passively via a transformer, which also provides galvanic isolation. Each channel has its own GROUND/LIFT switch to eliminate ground loops. The passive, unpowered mode of operation makes the RIVER elde particularly reliable and fault-tolerant, aided by an aluminum/steel alloy chassis.
