You'll always recognize Ovation acoustic guitars at first sight. They have a typically arched body made of a special Lyrachord material that is very durable and gives the guitar sufficient volume. Thanks to the ergonomic body, the guitar also fits well in your hand.

The Ovation Ultra models follow the design produced between 1983 and 1994. The front plate of the Pro Series Ultra Mid-Depth Non-Cutaway Silver Shadow electro-acoustic guitar is made of heat-treated solid "A" grade spruce, which offers a mature, balanced sound. The resonance of the top is enhanced by the reduced X ribbing. The rest of the body consists of an arched Mid Depth body made of hi-tech Lyrachord material, which gives the instrument the warm tone and comfort musicians need.

The African mahogany neck is glued to a 20-fret fig fingerboard. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the fit of the strings in the company's die-cast mechanics and the figwood fingerboard. The nice workmanship is emphasized by the bright top band, the distinctive inlay on the twelfth fret, the headstock in the typical Ovation design and a thin layer of UV varnish.

The guitar's sound system is provided by an OCP-2000 pickup and a newly designed K-21CT preamplifier with a two-band EQ and tuner. The more precise placement of the piezo pickups and the increased glass content material of the headstock seat ensures better vibration transmission. The guitar is supplied in a 20mm thick padded case/softcase.
