You'll always know Ovation instruments at a glance. They have a typically arched body made of a special Lyrachord material. This is not only very durable, but also provides the bass with sufficient volume and acoustic strengths. In addition, it is ergonomically shaped so that the instrument fits well in your hand.
The soundboard of this Celebrity Elite Exotic model is made of solid Sitka spruce and is complemented by a top made of puff maple with a cool pattern, embellished with a Cognac Burst color finish. The resonance of the top is enhanced by the placement and shape of the laser-cut sound holes and the lowered X-shaped ribbing of the front plate. The rest of the body is an arched, medium-deep Lyrachord hi-tech body that maximizes volume and all positive acoustic effects.
Another interesting feature is the bevelled fingerboard design, which offers nineteen frets on the thickest bass string, while four more frets are available on the thinnest string. The strings themselves are held in an ovangkol fingerboard and enclosed company die-cast mechanicals. The instrument's stylish design is accentuated by the decorative soundhole tabs on the soundboard and the ivory imitation body binding.
The guitar is equipped with an OP-4BT preamp with three-band corrections and a built-in tuner.
