The Tremlord 30 is a full tube guitar combo from Orange that offers a purely British take on the sound of the golden era of rock 'n' roll. It's a single-channel combo in the company's classic design with a maximum output of 30 watts, simple controls, an effects loop and built-in reverb and tremolo effects with footswitch control.
Power can be controlled via the Headroom/Bedroom switch on the main control panel and a switch on the rear activating four or two end tubes. Power can thus be adjusted to 30, 15, 2 and 1 watts without fear of degrading the tube sound, i.e. from power sufficient for rehearsing and gigging to a pleasant "living room" volume. The 12AT7/ECC81 and 12AX7 tube-driven reverb (spring reverb) and tremolo effects offer not only the traditional enrichment of a clean tube sound, but in the case of the tremolo, the ability to switch between two effect speeds with the footswitch (without the footswitch, only the first Speed potentiometer is active). An effect loop located in the signal path behind the tremolo allows you to connect your favorite boxes to the machine. Three outputs with 16 and 8 ohm impedance allow you to expand the setup with external speakers.
The heart of the cabinet is a 12-inch speaker from Italian brand Lavoce.
