The NUX MOD CORE DELUXE MKII pedal effect offers eight types of modulation effects, an effects loop for integrating your favorite pedal effects, and a three-position Pre/Parallel/Post switch to determine signal routing, i.e. whether the modulation effects are placed before, parallel to, or after the effects loop.
Of the eight mod effect types, you can choose from the MXR Stereo Chorus Effect-inspired ST.CH, the CE-1 based on the characteristics of the Boss CE-1 chorus effect, the SCF CHO (Chorus), SCF FLG (Flanger) and SCF P.M. (Chorus + Pitch Vibrato combination) pedal effect mods of the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger, the U-VIBE chorus and vibrato pedal effect of the Dunlop Uni-Vibe, and the PH-100 phaser (MXR PHASE 100). The remaining controls determine the speed and depth of the effect modulation and the dry/wet signal ratio. In Alt/Parallel mode, the Tweak control has a Blend function, i.e. it determines the ratio of wet signal mod effects and effect loop.
You can upload a firmware update via USB-C, and the speed of the effect modulation can also be adjusted via footswitch (smart tap tempo function). A 9V adapter is required to power the pedal effect (not included).
