The NUX AMP ACADEMY NGS-6 is a pedal preamp/amp modeler and speaker simulator that offers 6 models of well-known guitars (Fender Twin Reverb, Fender Vibro King, Mesa Boogie Mark I, Friedman HBE, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, Bogner Uberschall). The footswitch A/B can be switched between three types of clean amp styles and crunch amp styles, i.e. the pedal works as a two-channel amp.
With the AMP ACADEMY NGS-6 you have seven independent effect blocks (NR, EFX, AMP, IR, S/R, EQ, RVB) at your disposal, and you can easily set the individual blocks and parameters in the Amp Academy editing software. A second footswitch, Scene, lets you switch between three settings/presets.
AMP ACADEMY NGS-6 also offers 12 built-in IRs (1024 sample resolution) and 16 free slots for your IRs, USB interface for recording, firmware update and audio stream, Insert jack with included TRS Y-cable as send/return effect loop, XLR output for connecting to PA/mix, support for Normal/Dry Out/Loopback/Reamp routing (setup via Amp Academy editor), Aux in input for playing backing tracks and headphone output.
AMP ACADEMY NGS-6 is wired as a buffered bypass. A 9V adapter (not included) is required for power supply.
