Nord DRUM 3P

The Nord Drum 3P is a drum synthesizer packed with a variety of sounds and the successor to the successful Nord Drum 2.

Compared to its predecessor, it has several new features. The main one is the six pads that are built right into the synth in the 3P version. The user interface has also undergone a transformation, which is now much clearer and allows faster sound selection. In addition, the sounds of each percussion are sorted in their respective libraries (kicks, virbles, etc.). You can also now assign a Reverb or Delay to each of the six sounds and set their level.

Each of the 6 channels is equipped with three sections for sound synthesis and a mixer to balance them. The "Tone" section creates the body of the sound and can work with both common and very complex sound waves. It is possible to work with a low-pass filter and parameters such as sweep for dynamic LPF function, punch for attenuation, decay adjusting the length of the decay, pitch graduated in quarter tones and of course bend for dynamic pitch adjustment. The "Noise" section is used to enrich the sound with the texture of different colours. The last section "Click" works mainly with attack and offers 27 different settings.

Of course, Nord Drum 3P also allows you to work with effects - firstly, the Distortion / Crush effects, which react to the signal from the Tone and Noise sections, and then the complete sound can be further modelled using the EQ and Repeat effects, which essentially work like a MIDI delay.

Of course, the MIDI interface allows you to connect the Nord Drum 3 to a computer or tablet and conveniently set individual parameters or create sequences. Nord Drum3 also works great as a controller for your favourite music app.
