The MCM 114 set GUITAR miniature microphone is suitable for capturing all plucked instruments with the close-miking system. The MC 9 clip is very easy to attach to guitar, ukulele, dobro, bass guitar or cello. The new Neumann KK 14 microphone capsule then captures sound at a top level and the attachment of the microphone to the instrument is intuitive and reliable thanks to a perfectly designed mechanism.
The newly developed KK 14 capsule overcomes all the limitations of electret technology and captures the finest details over a wide range of all acoustic sources. To achieve these outstanding properties, Neumann has developed a new technology for manufacturing the pickup capsule, with each of the eight basic parts designed to optimally maintain the acoustic parameters. Each part is manufactured separately, and the capsule is assembled by hand, not by machine. Thanks to very strict output control, all capsules have exactly the same sound, and there is no need to pair or select individual pieces for the demanding task of recording multiple microphones simultaneously.
Included in the package is a gooseneck, 1.8 m cable, windproof cover, 3.5 mm to XLR Jack adapter, rattling instrument clip, and shipping case for safe transport.
