Moog Muse

It is obvious from the Moog portfolio that the designers do not intend to repeat themselves and do not bring to the market only upgraded replicas of the highly successful sythesizers that have defined sound and quality over several decades. On the contrary, the new instruments incorporate new concepts and entire topologies or mix several best practices with modern technologies. One such instrument is the Moog Muse, an eight-voice analog bi-timbral synthesizer that took 5 years to develop.

The Muse features eight analog voices, each with two VCOs, a modulating VCO, dual VCFs and a stereo VCA. The instrument is literally a melting pot, forging a noble sound with a fusion of classic Moog designs coupled with advanced controls. The best of vintage Moog circuitry was chosen to create the Muse, with oscillators inspired by the Voyager, the MF-102 ring modulator, the CP3 mixer, and additional circuitry by the 902 VCA module and 904a filter.

With Muse' s comprehensive sequencer, you'll create unique patterning that you can develop with parameter recording, generative/probabilistic functions, and detailed editing of every note in the sequencer.
