The GE250 guitar multieffect from Chinese brand Mooer draws inspiration from the more compact GE200, but brings some of the more advanced features of the flagship GE300. It's a compact device packed with all the features you could want from a multieffect, perfect for musicians who don't want to lug around a bunch of boxes and prefer to have all the functions in one place.
The device offers an extensive sound library of over 180 high-quality effects (84 digital effects, 70 digital instrument modulations and 32 IR speaker simulations), 60 percussion rhythm patterns and ten metronome rhythms. If you can't get enough of the internal menu of sounds and effects, the multieffect lets you expand it with your personal samples thanks to the Tone Capture function, and also offers 10 slots for recording user IRs. 255 presets divided into 85 banks of three are used to store your favourite settings, which can of course be freely edited and overwritten.
The rear panel offers a wealth of connectivity options. You'll find one instrument input, two 6.3 mm Jack (Mono/Stereo) and two XLR (Mono/Stereo) outputs, an effects loop input and output (Send, Return), an Aux In line input for external sound sources and a USB connector for recording audio, interfacing with MOOER software (editing, importing and exporting presets) or updating firmware. In addition, there is a MIDI In/Out for connecting an external device, an input for an external Expression pedal and a standard headphone output.
Of course, there's also an integrated tuner and looper with 70 seconds of recording time. A 9V adapter is used for power supply, which is included in the package along with a USB cable and user manual.
