Description of product

The Black Truck hi-gain multi-effect from the Chinese brand Mooer is a practical solution for rock and metal guitarists who no longer want to lug around a bunch of guitar pedals. It follows the previous multieffect called Red Truck and does not differ much in its concept - however, in this case, especially players using high gain distortion will find it to their liking. A compressor has also been added and the equalization options have been expanded.

Its compact body houses a set of the most widely used guitar effects divided into six basic sections (Space, Mod, EQ, High-Gain, OD and Comp). Just behind the input circuit is the compressor, which can be activated with the On/Off switch. This is followed by the OD, or overdrive, section, where you can adjust the volume, gain and tonal aperture. The High-Gain section provides similar adjustment options, but with the addition of a Tweak function, a simple noise gate and a midrange characteristic switch. The brand new EQ unit offers a five-band graphic EQ that lets you fine-tune the sound characteristics. In the Mod section you'll find Phaser, Tremolo and Flanger effects, and finally there's the Space unit consisting of digital delay, reverb or a combination of the two (Delay/Reverb/Del+Rev).

In addition to the compressor, each section can be activated by a backlit footswitch. The sixth switch is designed to control the tuner and tap tempo function. The stereo output and effects loop (send/return) allow a variety of different connections. For example, you can use the effects loop of a combo/amplifier or send the signal to multiple instruments. The signal from the headphone output with integrated cabinet simulation can be plugged directly into an external PA or mixer. A 9V adapter is used to power the multieffect.
