The Martin SC13E-01 electroacoustic guitar introduces a new, guitar-friendly and comfortable SC body shape. It is a modern instrument from the Road Series series, which will surely impress you with its asymmetrical body shape and great fingerboard along the entire length of the neck (patented Sure Align system). The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of plywood Hawaiian koa with a characteristic beautiful grain. The Select Hardwood neck, unusually attached to the body at the thirteenth fret, is joined by an ebony fingerboard with twenty frets. The playing and acoustic properties of the guitar are enhanced by an ergonomically shaped neck foot and special reduced X-ribs (Scalloped X-Brace).
The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on the ebony fingerboard, together with the Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain. The attractive look of the instrument is accentuated by a mother-of-pearl rosette, white binding with blue and white lines, mother-of-pearl fretboard markers and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, which also protects the guitar's lacquer from scratches.
The guitar's sound system is handled by Fishman MX-T electronics with a tuner in the guitar's soundhole with auto-mute function for silent tuning.
