Martin HD-28E LR Baggs Anthem

The Martin HD-28E LR Baggs Anthem electroacoustic guitar is the true embodiment of the timeless sound and design of dreadnought guitars that has found its way across musical genres and has shaped the shape of modern popular music for decades. The front of the guitar is made from solid American Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are also made from solid East Indian rosewood. The resonance of the soundboard and the overall good acoustic properties of the guitar are enhanced by the special X-ribbing (Forward-Shifted X-Brace).

The Select Hardwood neck, attached to the body at the fourteenth fret as standard, is joined by a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by pearl (Abalone) position markers and white dots on the sides. Precise tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the string attachment through the TusQ compensated saddle and bone zero fret in open nickel mechanics and ebony cob. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the double-sided Antique White body binding, herringbone front and Zig-Zag back pickguard, black rosette, rosewood headstock veneer, Butterbean tuning pegs and a tortoiseshell pickguard that also protects the lacquer from scratches.

Faithful transmission of the instrument's acoustic sound is guaranteed by the L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics with patented Tru-Mic technology combining microphone pickup and Element sub-coil pickup. The controls are discreetly placed in the guitar's soundhole.
