Electro-Acoustic Guitar / HN207814
The Martin DX Johnny electroacoustic guitar is a tribute to one of music's greatest legends and the first Martin guitar with a black finish, which for many years accompanied the "man in black" in style. As with the other X Series models, the look and sound of Martin-branded instruments are complemented by modern touches in the form of renewable components, composite materials and Fishman MX electronics. This makes the guitar completely versatile - from home playing to intense gigging with a band.
The body of the guitar is made of modern HPL (High Pressure Laminate) material. The laminated neck (Black Birch Laminate) is fitted with a Richlite composite fingerboard with 20 frets. This eco-friendly material, visually similar to ebony, is characterised by its excellent acoustic properties, durability and stability.
The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on a Richlite fingerboard, together with the Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain. The guitar's dark design is enhanced by the star-shaped position markings and "CASH" logo on the fingerboard, plus the artist's signature embedded in the rosette.
The guitar comes in a high quality case (Soft Gig Bag), making it instantly ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to pursue your musical dreams.
