The Martin D-X1 Black is a dreadnought acoustic guitar from the more affordable X Series line made in Mexico. The body of the guitar is made of modern HPL (High Pressure Laminate) material. The laminated neck (Natural Birch Laminate) is glued to the fingerboard made of Richlite composite material with 20 frets. This eco-friendly material, visually similar to ebony, is characterized by excellent acoustic properties, durability and stability.
The compensated TUSQ composite saddle on a Richlite fingerboard, together with the Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and sustain. A simple rosette with a herringbone pattern enhances the austere design. The guitar comes in a high-quality soft shell case, making it ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to your musical dreams.
