Martin D-16E

The Martin D-16E (Mahogany) is a full-massage dreadnought-type electroacoustic guitar with a shallower body (depth equivalent to a "triple-neck") from the 16 Series series. It can appeal to players who find the standard Dreadnought too bulky. The guitar comes in a high-quality soft shell case, making it instantly ready to be loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to pursue your musical dreams.

The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are also solid mahogany. The resonance of the soundboard and the overall good acoustic properties of the guitar are enhanced by the special X-ribbing (Forward-Shifted X-Brace).

The Select Hardwood neck, which is attached to the body at the fourteenth fret as standard, is joined by a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position markers and white dots on the sides. Precise tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the string attachment through the TusQ compensated saddle and the bone zero fret in the Nickel Open Gear and ebony fingerboard. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the imitation tortoiseshell body surround, herringbone rosette, rosewood headstock veneer and imitation tortoiseshell pickguard, which also protects the lacquer from scratches.

The Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics with controls in the instrument's soundhole guarantee a faithful reproduction of the guitar's acoustic sound.
